Directly accessible (indoors) to the Centre des congrès de la Gaspésie, the restaurant La Seigneurie and the Pub St-Joseph, this new section brings together about 20 rental units with private balcony and ocean views on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Each room or suite was renovated, adding a new design and a contemporary bathroom, in addition to being equipped with high quality bedding with king or queen sized beds, a refrigerator, Keurig coffee machine and hair dryers. The rooms are also business friendly with a business desk, power-bars, USB ports, wireless telephones, high-speed internet, large-screen TVs, etc.
Stéphane Boudreau, president and general manager of the Hostellerie Baie Bleue – Centre des congrès de la Gaspésie, is very enthusiastic to be able to offer the best services for business travellers year-round. He also highlighted the series of major renovations that have been completed since 2007, when the current owners acquired the establishment. These include the construction of the Pub St-Joseph and the Centre des congrès de la Gaspésie connected to the hotel, the renovation of the tourism lodging section of the complex, the creation of new design and junior suites, the renovation of the buildings and rooves, the make-over of the La Seigneurie restaurant, new landscaping with a terrace and fireplace ocean-side, and finally the transformation of the rooms and suites in the new business section. “For us, it is the culmination of our 10-year long effort at making business travel both productive and fun. Today, we are proud of being a leader in the hotel industry in the Eastern Quebec region. The Pub St-Joseph and La Seigneurie are also two of the best restaurants in the region.”
