A message from Leslie Pschola, Senior Vice President, Operations – Hilton
I am pleased to announce that Jean-Francois Lincourt has been appointed general manager of Hilton Quebec.
In his new role, Jean-Francois will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the 571-room hotel and its 20 meeting spaces and will report to area vice president, Conrad Wangeman, effectively immediately.
A 25-year hospitality veteran, Jean-Francois began his career in hospitality at Fairmont Jasper Park as a Food & Beverage Server before joining the opening team as Senior Banquet Manager at Fairmont Tremblant. He later worked at Fairmont Le Château Frontenac in Quebec and Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth in Montreal, working as Assistant Outlet Manager, Director of Conference Services & Catering, Director of Rooms, and Director of Operations.
Jean-Francois made his way to the United States in 2012, working as Director of Operations at Fairmont Pittsburgh where he won “Hotel of the Year”. Under his leadership, the property earned the top result in the JD Power Guest Satisfaction Index and the highest RevPAR index in the chain worldwide. Jean-Francois then joined Claremont Club & Spa, a Fairmont Hotel in Berkley, California, where he led a $42M renovation of the rooms, public areas and F&B outlets. He then made his way back to the east coast where he most recently served as Hotel Manager at Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston.
A Canadian native, Jean-Francois holds a hotel management diploma from Institut de Tourisme et d’Hôtellerie du Québec and has a certificate in hotel real estate investments and asset management from eCornell. He is currently pursuing a certificate in Business Administration. Jean-Francois is excited to return home with his wife, Alina, and son, Gabriel.
Please join me in welcoming Jean-Francois to the Hilton team.
Leslie
