Auberge de la Pointe: Major Investments for the 2017 Season

With the arrival of spring, the management at the Auberge de la Pointe has made major investments of almost $600,000 for the opening of the season. Like past years, the improvements were completed to make their client’s stay even more memorable but also to reach the highest standards for its 4-star hotel rating. More than $1 million has been invested since 2016.

Starting on April 27, clients can discover the Pavillon de la Mer and its fully renovated 30 superior rooms with private balcony. The rooms were completely renovated, including the furniture, lighting, flooring, bathrooms and décor. Like previous years, the Auberge’s mangers focused on local suppliers to encourage buying local while selecting high quality materials, such as solid walnut and Canadian quartz.

Additionally, renovations were made to the outside of the Gaspé pavilion. The hotel’s kitchen, which is constantly updated using the latest technologies in the preparation and transformation of food, has also gone through important changes.

Recipient of two prizes, including company of the year during the Rivière-du-Loup MRC Chamber of Commerce Gala, the Auberge’s management sees the 2017 season as promising. The 117-room hotel complex, which offers resort, health and business packages, has many surprises in store for its clients starting April 27.
