2018-2019 ACTIVITIES REPORT
The fiscal year ending March 31, 2019, focused on continuity. But it was also a year in which many important files were handled. The QACP is happy with the announcement made by Mrs. Caroline Proulx, Minister of Tourism on March 14, 2019. She presented the main points of a new business tourism strategic process. With this announcement, we are now in a new era for actively promoting and developing the business tourism sector.
In 2018-2019, the QACP relied on improved communications with its members and other industry actors. We launched a series of articles found in the daily publication TourismExpress. We reinforced our presence on social networks through our newsletters, which are widely read and appreciated. We maintain the same goal of promoting our sector, ensuring its economic value is recognised, and to showcase our partners.
Finally, our efforts with business event organisers continued to generate significant interest. Our participants are always impressed with the exceptional networking opportunities they experienced during our high-quality face-to-face meetings.
