The City of Sherbrooke will host the 26th edition of the national gala for the Grands prix du tourisme québécois. The professionals of the tourism industry will gather at the Sherbrooke Exhibition Centre on Monday, May 28, 2012 in order to present their awards of excellence.
The City of Sherbrooke will have the distinct privilege of being the first in the region to host this very important meeting. The new formula for the event makes it easy for the gala to be presented outside the major urban centres of the province in order to promote regional initiatives.
Destination Sherbrooke has been a first-rate partner in the bid for this national gala and they are presently collaborating with Tourism Eastern Townships and the associated regional tourism associations (ATR) of Quebec in order to maximize the success of the event.
The City of Sherbrooke has chosen the art of living and sustainable development as the theme under which they will demonstrate all their know-how to the various actors and award winners of Quebec tourism.
The Grands prix du tourisme underline the efforts of businesses in the tourism industry and recognize their exceptional contribution in positioning Quebec as a destination of choice for tourists.
