On January 30th, the president and founder of the Imperia Hotel & Suites chain, Mr. Jean-François Caron, accompanied by Mr. Martin Soucy, CEO of the Alliance de l’industrie touristique du Québec, Mrs Josée Julien, General Manager of Tourisme Montérégie as well as Mr. Jean Martel, mayor of Boucherville, officially inaugurated the new establishment in Boucherville, located at 1550 Boul. de Montarville, located along highway 20.
This third establishment, which is added to the first two located in St-Eustache and Terrebonne, represents the next steps in the ambitious development plan set by Imperia Hotel & Suites over the past year. The group’s goal is to become the largest Quebec hotel chain by building about 15 establishments across the province over the next decade. Additionally, the technological turn adopted by Imperia establishments makes them the only SMART hotels in Quebec.
Imperia Hotel & Suites Boucherville will offer clients 80 very comfortable lodging units, 3520 ft2 of technologically advanced meeting and banquet spaces, with access to a beautiful patio, executive business suites, an 80-seat restaurant with patio during the summer season, a pool, gym and amenities that can make guests’ stay even better.
This more than $15 million investment will have significant impacts for Boucherville, with the creation of 30 jobs in the hotel and a new high-tech business destination for the Montérégie region, just a few minutes from Montreal.
