The Magdalen Islands Tourism Association presented the first of a series of videos highlighting its residents doing different daily activities on the archipelago.
In this first capsule, visitors are invited to enter the world of Maxime and Jean-Mathieu, two brothers who are sons of a fisherman. One loves fishing, but not enough to do it professionally. For the other, it’s no secret that he will be a captain when he grows up.
Tourism Magdalen Islands tells the story of Maxime and Jean-Mathieu, both in video form and as a story on the #fousdesiles blog. You will get to know them and what brings them together in an authentic way.
Videos narrated by the people involved in the scenario, visitors can discover the archipelago more intimately. The videos were filmed during the spring, fall and winter, which means the videos will attempt to prolong the tourist season. These videos will also be broadcasted during strategic periods throughout the year, in contrast to previous years when the emphasis was the start of summer.
