Victoriaville, December 4, 2019 – The Hôtel Le Victorin, home to the Victoriaville Convention Centre, has undergone an important rejuvenation, restoring lustre to its facilities. An estimated $1.5 million was invested in the work.
First, the rooms have been renovated, updated by changing carpets, draperies and bedding. Added to this are more modern bathrooms with more spacious showers, new vanities and new ceramics. Beautification work has also been done in the suites, where contemporary furniture has been added.
New trendy carpets, motorized curtains, lighting, and state-of-the-art furnishings have redesigned the Convention Centre. In its vast hall, a customized piece was created by the artist Etienne St-Amant, with an apple tree in bloom seen through rays of geometric lights. Its iconography reflects the nature and sustainable development aspects of the city of Victoriaville.
Public spaces have also undergone a youthful makeover: bar, dining room and corridors have all been transformed. Also, there are new digital wall displays for events taking place in its rooms.
Additionally, Azur Groupe Santé-Beauté, which already had facilities in Le Victorin, decided to consolidate its services and operations. Its premises in Le Victorin have been enlarged and transformed, adding 800 square feet. They now have 12 treatment and aesthetics rooms, offering the perfect break for your relaxation, health, comfort and beauty.
The only four-star hotel in Victoriaville and region and the only one with Terroir and Saveur certification, Le Victorin is the largest in central Quebec. It offers 152 rooms and a Convention Centre with 29,500 square feet of meeting and exhibit space. Together with the Manoir des Sables and Hotel Chéribourg in Magog, Le Victorin is one of three four-star establishments in the Villegia Hotels Group.
