A golden opportunity to discover Sherbrooke’s culinary scene
Sherbrooke, Tuesday, October 1, 2019 – Today, participating restaurateurs, BMW Sherbrooke and Destination Sherbrooke revealed all the details surrounding the sixth edition of Sherbrooke’s Restaurant Week, running from October 16-30, 2019.
“BMW Sherbrooke is pleased to sponsor the sixth edition of Sherbrooke’s Restaurant Week. This event is always much anticipated by food lovers eager for new culinary experiences,” said Mr. Stéphan Lane, Sales Manager at BMW Sherbrooke, the official sponsor of Sherbrooke’s 2019 edition of its Restaurant Week.
A gourmet promotion initiated in 2014 by Destination Sherbrooke, Restaurant Week brings restaurants and food lovers together for an affordable gourmet outing. Over a two weeks period, 25 restaurants will offer three-course menus at $15 or $20 for lunch and $25 or $35 for dinner. An excellent opportunity to discover or rediscover dishes prepared by local chefs.
While the restaurant formula remains the same, the enthusiasm of participating restaurateurs has been growing year after year. “It is a real pleasure to work with these establishments, all of which have their own unique flavour. It’s amazing to see how much they look forward to this time of year,” said Marie-Claude Vidal, Promotion and Business Community Delegate at Destination Sherbrooke.
“The restaurateurs are unanimous – Sherbrooke Restaurant Week brings them new clients. And the numbers prove it; 70% of customers have discovered new restaurants through this promotion. Several restaurateurs would like the event to last even longer,” noted Lynn Blouin, Manager of Promotion, Business and Sports Tourism at Destination Sherbrooke.

Delighted by past editions, 25 establishments are joining the initiative again this year: Coin du Vietnam, Auguste, Bistro DT, Café BlaBla, Comme chez soi, Da Leonardo, Da Toni, Guacamole y Tequila, La Table du Chef, Le Bouchon, L’Entr’Amis, L’Empreinte, Lo Ré, Masala Café, Méchant Steak, O’Chevreuil, OMG Resto, Overflow, Persepolis, Pizzicato, Savo, Sballo, Siboire, Tapageur and Wakai.

As part of this sixth edition, BMW Sherbrooke and Destination Sherbrooke are promoting a contest where participants will have the chance to win a two-night stay at the OTL Gouverneur, two dinners for two people chosen from among the participating restaurants and a BMW for the weekend offered by BMW Sherbrooke. Epicureans can participate by filling out the contest form on Destination Sherbrooke’s website in the competition section. The draw will take place on October 7, just in time for the start of the promotion.New this year…
