The “Espace Shawinigan” trade show centre’s buildings represent a unique heritage in North America. These buildings were originally home to a large aluminum smelter, where the first bar of aluminum was poured in 1901. The complex, which was designated as a National Historic Site of Canada in 2001, lends a very distinctive atmosphere to the events held there.
